Driving was fun this morning - I was worried before, not having driven for a month since my test, and Oxford being a nasty place to drive (and me not liking driving, etcetera). But I found I *did* enjoy it, it was actually fun - so, another breakthrough. Huzzah.
Work this afternoon, however, has been less productive. I went to the Rad Cam, as yesterday, when I managed to get 7 hours of work done sitting in there. Instead, I was just fidgetty and not concenrating, so I gave up and went and bought second hand books with imaginary money in Blackwells. One was a law book, so somehow my brain thinks this makes it OK.. I'm not wanting to disillusion it.
Got back to the Annex and thought I'd try sitting down with Trust law, having turned off my laptop, and just ploughed through 4 sides of notes and enjoyed doing it! Conclusion: I just don't like or get on with Conract law. Which is odd, because I loved it when I started it last term. I'd say it was any new topic, and they just get stale after I've studied them for a while, but trusts is still fun and exciting. So here's hoping the vac scheme at Withers will come through then.
I should go do some more now. I'm armed with a full teapot just for me, so all will be well, tea books and tea always make the world seem peaceful - all manner of things shall be well, barring contract (eugh).
PS sorry about the excessive lawyer-y content of this

Ah-hah! I love trusts. And yes, this is wierd even for a lawyer. But it means I get to have a nice intellectual argument with my tutor via email, about me vs. her vs. the textbook as none of us agree on one point. (The textbook now being personified as Pam, from Parker and Mellows, P.a.M... yes. Sorry)
I've also found wonderful music to listen to, or rather www.pandora.com has found me wonderful music. I adore this site, it has kept me on the right side of sanity (whichever that is, the one at the moment works) all term. There were too many hours/evenings/days in the summer when I had just one song on repeat because it was the only thing that suited my mood... this site finds many many others that all work, and then I don't get bored, so all is wonderful.
I just re-read my Christmas cards from a couple of people and had a little contemplative moment, thinking about various things this term and a few things I tried to help people with at various points, and how a lot of things seem to have worked out - if not as expected, in another way which is good. Not really down to me, but it was just a lovely realisation of how much did go on this term, and how things are, for the moment at least, bon... and how lucky I am to have some very very wonderful special people I never appreciated properly (for various reasons) last year.
