Really, really cold
Apr. 13th, 2006 12:31 amBack in Somerset. Clearly global warming has not spread this far. And heating appears to do nothing in my room under the flat roof. My fingers have gone purple, so typing's a little bit fun.
I'm really tired, too, after 4 or 5 hours in the car with Dad driving home. It's odd, though - I'm tired, but not sleepy, I want to curl up with someone and talk, and fall asleep when my body wants to, not when I think I ought to go to bed. However, no one seems to be around. Funny, that.
Have several hundred things to do in the next three days. Bit worrying really. Implies I've been slacking but I can't really think when. Maybe it's with being busy doing other stuff that wasn't on my to do list but still had to be done - family duties, I mean.
Meh.. kitten mode, want to curl up by a warm fire. Need company. I can tell it's the week before I go back to Oxford, the poems are waking me up again and not letting me sleep till I write them down.
Ai-yah... this tiger kitten will be back in Oxford soon, and will stalk hugs until they surrender.
*pounce* (like on a ball of wool, or something. OK, rambling now. Bed.)
